About Us

Diamond Dolls Twirling is an independent twirling team based in Derry, PA.  Started in 1999, we are in our 23rd great season of twirling!  Offering both group classes and private lessons at the recreational and competitive levels, the Diamond Dolls is open to girls ages 3-17 years old, from any school district, with or without twirling experience.  We practice on Tuesday OR Thursday evenings at Grandview Elementary School in Derry, PA, from January through March and at Derry Area Middle School in Derry, PA from April through August.  We march in local parades and entertain at church and community festivals from May-September.  If you are interested in joining our elite twirling organization, or arranging for us to provide entertainment for your organization, please see our contact page.

**Please note there have been several changes made for our 2021 season, including a temporary practice location change to the Blairsville Armory & Wellness Center.  Our 2021 season will have a delayed start, with Competitive teams starting Feb. 9 & Recreational teams starting March 4, 2021.  We are hopeful that we will have some parade & performance opportunities, but are unsure at this time what will be scheduled in the community.

We also include a competitive team and a mini-competitive team-both chosen by audition.  In addition to leading Diamond Dolls in parades and performances, our competitive teams also compete in indoor Twirling Unlimited competitions during the spring and summer months.  Our competitive team has held 2 State titles,  28 Regional titles,  and 30 International titles.  They are the reigning TU Juvenile Novelty International Champions & TU Junior Production Team International Champions!

Our Director/Lead Instructor is Kimberly Hoag.  She is joined by instructors: Angela Glitsky and Jessica Stofko.   Diamond Dolls instructors have extensive twirling & teaching experience.  Correct twirling technique, sportsmanship, a love for twirling, and the art of performance are emphasized.  NBTA & TU rules are taught.
